Rhabdomyolysis presents along a broad clinical spectrum, and it is especially prevalent in patients with acute traumatic injuries. If the syndrome is recognized and treated effectively, morbidity and mortality can be greatly minimized. Herein, etiologies, common findings, and management priorities are addressed.
